Creturner has signed a sales co-operation agreement with BTS Corporate Travel in Belgium. The value is estimated to amount to at least SEK 15 million annually. The companies have signed an agreement in which BTS Travel acts as a reseller of Creturner's climate offset to its customers in the travel industry. BTS Travel is a business travel agency in the travel industry, whose largest customers are in the B2B segment in Central Europe. The agreement is ongoing and excludes North America and Canada. The integration has started.
Creturner believes that this is a strategic agreement and a breakthrough for the sales opportunities targeting the Central European travel industry. The market is demanding a more flexible, transparent, digital and deal-driven way to meet customer needs for real climate offset. Creturner's method is innovative and closes the economic circle and quickly delivers the clarity that customers demand. From Creturner's side, Chairman Daniel Moström has led the negotiations and from BTS Travel's side, CEO Mickey Creyf has taken the lead.
CEO Joakim Erlandson, Creturner, comments: "This is a significant success for Creturner. It is obvious that the interest and need for Creturner's solution is apparent and we solve a concrete problem in a unique way that can be applied in a larger context. Work on this agreement has been ongoing during the spring. There is great international interest in Creturner's solution. We are very happy and proud of the trust from an established player like BTS Travel for this recognition. At the same time, we realise that this is only the beginning of our work with this segment that really needs our services. This naturally places demands on us to continue to expand, and with more active customers this will be faster."
CEO Mickey Creyf, BTS Travel, comments:” We are committed to ensuring that future generations have a healthy environment, and our company seeks all possible ways to offset the CO2 emissions of our clients and our own. Creturner Group AB is a group with two business areas within environmental technology.
The digital part is a technical computing business that is expanding to strengthen its long-term potential and create a presence in the rapidly growing market for computing capacity. The company has its own facilities in Sweden with its own energy production to reduce raw material costs and environmental impact.
The environmental technology division offers corporate customers an efficient and permanent method for carbon offsetting their operations. The method is based on Bio-CSS (Carbon Capture and Storage), which involves converting residual biomass into the element carbon and depositing it to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Creturners corporate customers can then purchase carbon offsets in the same way as traditional carbon offsets such as tree planting. Unlike tree planting, Creturners method is immediate, permanent, and clearly measurable. Follow-up is done through linked smart contracts that give the customer insight into the outcome and future financial returns from the environmental investment. www.creturner.com
The company is listed on NGM Nordic SME in Stockholm, Sweden and on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange in Germany.
