Creturner has appointed Johnny Thorsen as a strategic advisor to improve the reach of opportunities internationally. Mr Thorsen is based in San Francisco and has a wide network within the field of global air travel amongst other industries.

This cooperation has been evaluated and on-going since last year has been of crucial value for accessing potential clients and partners on an international scale, which also led to establishing the first commercial contract in the United States. Creturner deems this to be a good step and basis for further commercial development and has therefore proceeded to formalize the cooperation by appointing Johnny Thorsen as strategic advisor.

Joakim Erlandson, CEO of Creturner, comments: "The only way to grow business is to be active in the marketplace and we see this a way of adding presence and value in more areas. I feel very optimistic for the possibilities we are encountering because of this development. The proof is in the establishment of agreements that grow into healthy business. It is good for the environment, Creturner’s shareholders and the clients when we are able to further this combination."

Creturner Group AB is a group with two business areas within environmental technology.
The digital part is a technical computing business that is expanding to strengthen its long-term potential and create a presence in the rapidly growing market for computing capabilities. The company has its own facilities in Sweden with in-house energy production to reduce raw material costs and environmental impact.
The environmental part offers corporate customers an efficient and permanent method to offset their operations. The method is based on Bio-CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage), which involves converting residual biomass into the element carbon and storing it to reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Corporate customers of Creturner can then buy carbon offsets in the same way as they traditionally offset climate change, for example by planting trees. Unlike tree planting, Creturner's approach is immediate, permanent and clearly measurable. Monitoring is done through linked smart contracts that give the customer insight into the outcomes and future financial returns from the environmental investment.

The company is listed on NGM Nordic SME in Stockholm, Sweden and on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange in Germany.
