The collaboration concerns expansion of the HPC business and sales collaboration for Co2 offsets towards server hall operators globally.
Xpecunia has entered into a new partnership with Panchaea Ltd in the UK to collaborate in HPC (High Performance Computing) as well as direct sales of Co2 offsets to global server halls. Panchaea has long been an established relationship with Xpecunia in hardware and has direct contact with a large number of global server hall operators. Xpecunia and Panchaea agree that HPC will have strong growth and the rising environmental awareness is a factor that affects competitive opportunities and also establishment opportunities. The conclusion is drawn on the basis of the volumes of direct requests for hardware and joint calls for Co2 offset with server hall operators.
The collaboration means that Xpecunia has access, without intermediaries, to hardware suppliers for HPC, access to a series of virtual marketplaces similar to the partnership that is currently being negotiated with another actor in the UK, and establishes a joint sales collaboration aimed at a large number of server hall operators globally.
Pete Overell, CEO Panchaea says: “From several years of cooperation between our companies, we have great confidence in Xpecunia and its ability to quickly adapt to the computing demands of the digital world. On top of our business of consulting and supplying the latest hardware to Xpecunia, we are beyond excited to work together on their unique CO2 solution that doesn’t have competition in our field. Working with Xpecunia, we have a mission to bring affordable decentralised compute to the masses, steering companies and users away from the monopoly of hyperscalers and towards environmentally friendly data centres that offer the latest technologies from the worlds top suppliers.”
Daniel Moström, CEO Xpecunia says: "This is a development that we are very hopeful about, the digital computing development is moving strongly towards HPC and a key factor is opportunities for the latest hardware directly from manufacturers. That we can now jointly use the environmental awareness that has also become a customer requirement in the data center industry to a sales opportunity for the Xpecunia group is a dream come true. Precisely the access to a credible contact with decision-makers is the difficult part of all sales work. Now we will do our utmost for this.”
HPC is a market that is expected to continue to grow strongly at 9% annually up to $60 billion in five years from today's level of $46 billion according to Intersect360 Research. Other assessors have similar estimates. Xpecunia already has revenue in HPC that is on the rise
